Should I Get a Bank of America Debt Consolidation Loan? – Erica

Erica

“Dear Steve,

If I wanted to roll my vehicle, credit cards and a dental bill all totalling about $40,000 which debt consolidation lender would be the best? I was considering BOA as I bank with them but have heard that the loans are a tad bit shady.

Dear Erica,

You should read the review I did of the Bank of America CleanSweep debt consolidation product. Read the comments submitted by others as well.

A better place to look for a debt consolidation loan is probably LendingClub.com. LendingClub is a peer-to-peer lending network of individuals that pool their money to help people in trouble. I happen to be a lender with them. Who knows, if you go the LendingClub.com route I might even be one of those lenders that helps you out.

  1. lending club is the only way to go. If you get turned down you can also try prosper which does something similar. By all means though avoid the banks like the plague.

  2. Erica, No, No, No do not use Bank of America….whether you are late or not they will hound you for two weeks of the month for their payment. They will call you, email you and use any form of communication. They will never leave you alone. Please don’t put yourself through this torment. It’s not worth it.
