Consumer Statement:
I was in need of a loan. I was called by Star Loans Network, who said they were able to give me the loan that I needed.
All I had to do was pay $100 as a deposit because of my credit score. And to ensure I could make my payments. I was promised that within 30 minutes of paying that I would receive my loan of 1,000. I made sure that $100 was all I needed, and he assured me that numerous times.
However after 30 min I checked, and nothing was there. I called them to let them know. And they transferred me over to another person who said he was doing it now. To just give him 5 min. and to check again. I did so, but still nothing.
They even called me back as well. They said that before I could get my funds, I needed to pay an additional $339 or $239 for an insurance. (I forget which one it was. either $339 or $229) Anyhow I was furious! It took everything for me to come up with that $100.
The man who was my “loan officer” was named Chris Williams. He even told me thy would help me pay it. However when I asked to talk to his manager, when I mentioned it, he acted like he didn’t know what I was talking about. I asked for a refund since I wasn’t able too. I spoke to the manager who yelled at me, and told me to have the other part of the cash in 3 1/2 hours or he would close my account! He gave me a time limit! And even called me numerous times.
I told them to just close my account. Because they seemed sketch and fake. They yelled at me in reply, and I just hung up. The number they called me on was (718) 717-2242.

They did not try to resolve anything.
