Debt Settlement Industry Still Crazy After All These Years

By on March 16, 2015

On March 10th I wrote about a landmark lawsuit filed against a wide number of people in the debt settlement field. As per an email that was allegedly sent out by Ira Frazer of Consumer Legal Services of America.

The email also said, “The suit filed also includes serious allegations against Global Client Solutions, LLC some of their employees, Greenspoon Marder and some of their lawyers. The ramifications of the allegations go well beyond the cases filed by the Scott Law Group. Some of the allegations against Greenspoon Marder and/or Global Client Solutions include breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, malpractice, serious conflicts of interest and conspiracy.”

According to the email received by a number in the debt relief industry, the lawsuit was allegedly filed on March 6, 2015.

While I can’t confirm the entire incident was total bullshit, what I can confirm is repeated emails to Frazer asking for details went without response and that Pacer, the federal court search tool, does not locate any such case filed.

I wish I could offer some logical explanation why an email would be sent out claiming that a suit had already been filed and why there is no public record of it.

If you have a credit or debt question you’d like to ask just use the online form. I’m happy to help you totally for free.
