Consumer Statement:
I have been contacted several times by Account Financial Solutions on my cell phone. What made me suspicious was a call at 3am. I called back to ask that they discontinue calls and place information in writing. I was first told that my case was in finalization and being sent to Mecklenburg County Court. I was then asked to enter in to a payment agreement. This was apparently for a payday loan back in 2010. I wondered why I would 5 years later just be receiving word of this. I refused and stated that if this was legitimate, I would receive in the mail. The representative then got very rude and verified my social security number, email and bank information.
Consumer Action Taken:
I asked for information in writing several times and that I would handle inquires from my bank on my end. The final time I asked, I stated that if it wasn’t going to be sent, then I would hang up, which is what I did. How can this company be stopped.
