TITLE. This Act may be cited as the “Student Loan Employment Benefits Act of 2016″. SEC. 2. STUDENT LOAN PAYMENT ASSISTANCE PROGRAMS. (a) In General.–Part III of subchapter B of chapter 1 of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 is amended by inserting after section 127 the following new section: “SEC. 127A.   1. Let me understand this bill…. so it is limited to just $5,000.00 a year? WTF? That does nothing to pay down a student loan! In fact it would not even cover the interest on the loan in a year’s time! Another stupid NON-HELPFUL piece of legislation! $416.00 a month that is peanuts!
