Debt Relief Mailer Promises Everything But Delivers Empty Logic

Written by Steve Rhode

An amazing reader sent in a new debt relief mailer through my I Buy Junk Mail program.

A reader sent in the debt relief mailer below. While it contains the logos of American Express, Discover, MasterCard, and Visa, there is no reason to believe these logos were used with permission.

While the letter claims a load of things, it is very unclear exactly what the program is they are trying to push. The letter references:

  • Debt settlement
  • Debt validation
  • Financial education
  • One low monthly payment
  • Referral to a non-profit or for-profit company
  • Eliminate your debt in three years
  • Resolve your debt for 30% of the current balance

If you get one of these ambiguous mailers, just keep in mind this appears to not be a authorized use of the logos and feels like a lead generation mailer and not a specific program offer.

This offer was able to be reviewed because a kind reader sent it in via my I Buy Junk Mail program.
