Consumer Complaint: I went to an emergency on XXXX/XXXX/2016 to XXXX hospital ( XXXX PA ) XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, Ca n’t XXXX After a month I started to receiving the bills I have paid all the bills and the situation was over.
A month ago a collection agency is calling me for a medical debt ( I though it was a scam ) I call the hospital, many many many times, and noone has an explanation for me about that debt. They said you dont owe anything.
I did a research and collection agency is true, its real, there is no scam I went to the XXXX hospital today in person, after insist with diferent departments and diferent people ( back to back calls ) They told me that for the emergency attendance I should recieve 3 diferent bills, from 3 diferent companies. 1 ) XXXX 2 ) XXXX- XXXX XXXX 3 ) XXXX the doctors I only recieved 1 and 2 bills. Bill 3 ( the doctors ) I never recieved a bill from them, a call from them e- mail from them, nothing at all.
I call them And they said, yes you owed money but, because we could n’t reach you, we send you to collections, fresh and simple as that.
Someone made a mistake when the put my information, someone did something wrong. I still do not understand how 1 XXXX and 2 XXXX send me the bill without any problem and XXXX XXXX XXXX did n’t found me, its a mystery.
I am totally ignorant on the medical field and how they proces a bill through diferent companies. And because of that I am in a collection agency.
To finish this complaint I want to mention that, the day that I XXXX XXXX XXXX, after hours at the hospital the doctor told me, you do n’t have anything just put some Ice on it. But thats another story …
