Consumer Complaint: We purchased a XXXX XXXX from XXXX XXXX in XXXX and then we traded this car in XX/XX/XXXX to XXXX XXXX. XXXX XXXX paid XXXX XXXX {$5500.00} as in contract to retain the original title and complete the trade agreement for a brand new XXXX car.
We do not own or are liable for an account that was closed due to a trade-in vehicle purchase! Weve validated the balances and XXXX XXXX is claiming a debt that is mistaken, inaccurate, and deceptive. We have a copy of the XXXX contract stating they paid off XXXX. XXXX off and additionally, our paid fees to XXXX XXXX would have fulfilled our obligations … we have proof of this trade and XXXX XXXX is scamming us and destroying our credit. They have falsified records and are using predatory financial tactics to collect a debt from a car they no longer own or are the lien holder to-How can they collect a debt for a car they or we do not own?
