Consumer Complaint: Professional Debt Collections agency has made threatening and harassing phone calls to me, my grandparents, my mother, my boyfriend mother, and my workplace ( the final straw ). They told each person they contacted the alleged ” amount ” I owe ( {$1600.00} ). Also, they asked for ways of contacting me. They even asked for certain spots in the area that I hang out in.This collections agency calls my phone 5 times ( minimum ) per day. So much that I can not even focus on my work. I even had to change my phone number because of this agency for a peace of mind. They also informed me of my other job and threatened to use it against me ( EXTORTION ). I’m contacting a lawyer as soon as possible. However, the time and hassle will interfere with my work-life and the alleged amount owed makes me wonder.. is it worth it. This is ridiculous and obscene.
