Consumer Complaint: I’ve been served a summons on debt I was unaware of on a bill that is from XX/XX/2016. I had a medical bill from an er doctor that was turned over to collection agency. I have been at the same address for 5 years until 4 months ago and I have had the same phone number over 15 years. All of my credit reports show this information. The collections agency has made zero attempts to call me, mail me or send me anything certified. They found me at my new residence which isn’t even in my name so why couldn’t the collection company have reached out. I have XXXX debt in collections and always pay my bills so for them to sue me without notifying me is ludicrous.
I have spoken with the agency and they are not willing to budge. They will not take off the lawyers fees which is {$500.00} and all the tacked on fees. I am willing to pay the {$1200.00} and {$120.00} in interest fees but they are demanding over {$1900.00}.
I have reached out to the XXXX XXXX XXXX to file a complaint, the attorneys general office of Nevada and multiple lawyers researching my rights.
