Consumer Complaint: This is a complaint from XXXX XXXX against Honor Finance , LLC and XXXX XXXX XXXX for improper communication tactics and repeatedly repossessing my vehicle when I was not in default on the debt.

On XX/XX/2018, we purchased a vehicle from XXXX XXXX XXXX for {$11000.00} ( VIN XXXX ). We financed the purchase through Honor Finance , LLC. Over the next 9 months, we made our regularly scheduled payments. I understand that at some point during this time, Honor lost its legal status in Arizona and the debt was passed to XXXX.

On XX/XX/2018, the vehicle disappeared. We thought it had been stolen ; but as it turned out, Honor/XXXX had sent a tow truck to repossess it. Because of the disorganization of Honor/XXXX, we did not get the car back until XX/XX/2018.

A XXXX representative informed me that the car had been repossessed because of a clerical error. Apparently their computer system showed another debtor as the owner. Because that debtor was in default, my car had been taken instead of his I was offered no remedy, and was assured that the problem had been fixed and there would be no further confusion.

On XX/XX/2018, the car was again repossessed. Once again, Honor/XXXX seemed confused and did not know the location of the vehicle. We were given no assistance in locating the vehicle, and had to do all the legwork ourselves to track it down. Fortunately we were able to retrieve the car the next day. We were once again informed that, there had been a mix-up with our vehicle and another debtor ‘s debt, and offered no remedy.

Since the second repossession, we have been hassled by XXXX representatives with nonstop calls. We informed them of the mix-up between debtor accounts, but they will not listen. We told them that we had retained an attorney, but they refused to talk to him. We have asked for assurance that the money we pay toward the debt is going toward our debt, but they will not provide this documentation.

We need assistance clearing up this problem. We have missed work because the vehicle was taken and live under constant stress because we are being hassled with dozens of calls from XXXX every day. We are scared that XXXX is going to repossess the vehicle again. We don’t even know if our payments are paying down our debt or not.
