Consumer Complaint: I pulled my credit and found a {$3000.00} charge from my old College. I graduated in XXXX and have not returned. I immediately file a dispute with all 3 credit Bureau Agencies. I notified my college and they sent emails, school bill paid in full and they said it was fraud. The company is call Allied Collections Service XXXX. I spoke XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX at XXXX XXXX He asked that I send him all the documentation and he would send to the legal department to have it removed. Instead they reported the 3 credit bureaus the next day that it was mine. They told me to get an attorney to call them to get it off. This is illegal to put something on someone’s credit knowing it is not there’s. They told me they had the wrong person but refuse to take it off. I have all of my documentation but no one will remove this error. My next step is to the local FBI for fraud if this does not work.
