Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX I purchased a vehicle financed through Satander Consumer USA. Payments were made. My vehicle was repossessed XX/XX/XXXX atXX/XX/XXXX in a very disruptive manner ; I.e : my car alarm was set off and the tow company lit up the entire neighborhood with lights and the sound on my vehicle. Without any notice my vehicle was repossessed and per Nebraska state law I was to be notified via a certified letter that my vehicle was in a repossessive state and given 20 days to rectify ; they failed to send me notice. After the repossession I called Santander and asked for the notice, the representative XXXX I spoke with was rude and stated it was not his job to notify me of my finances. I then mailed a Debt validation letter on XX/XX/XXXX and never recieved a response, I then was notified they sold the vehicle and that I now owe over {$10000.00} and are reporting on my credit file 3 different amounts as a bad debt/charge off, but I was never given the amount needed to get my vehicle back and rectify the debt to get my vehicle back.
