  1. Usaa issued my wife and I cards- no problem. Advertised zero interest while in a combat zone. Reneged on the no interest deal. I asked for a second card to use overseas that was tied to my main account but with only a 1500 dollar line of credit so when I used it in dubai or Kandahar or Kabul and someone bogarted the number, they could only steal what was left of the credit line without access to the main account. Not only did usaa deny the card, they demanded that I reapply for a new card at 20+ percent. They refused to look at my 34 year credit card history with usaa. Went to B.O.A. Got one exactly to my spec for free. Usaa obviously going under and grasping for anything to keep them afloat.
