Consumer Complaint: I began receiving daily phone calls from fake phone numbers in XXXX of this year. I finally answered one and waited for the call to connect. After connecting the representative on the phone stated they were from a debt collection agency and asked me for my credit card number to pay a medical debt of {$50.00}. I have never received a bill. I told them I would not give them my card #, but if they sent me the bill I would review the claim. About 2 months later ( XXXX ), I received a written notification from a company called ” Credit Collection Services ” stating that the date of service was from XXXX / XXXX / 2015 from XXXX XXXX . I reviewed all of my medical files and have no history of medical tests being done on this date. I responded with a letter to Credit Collection Services the next day stating that I was disputing the claim and requested they provide a copy of the original invoice with explanation of how they tried to bill. On XXXX I received another notice from Credit Collection Services stating that the past due account remains unpaid. They have not responded to my dispute.
