Consumer Complaint: On the date of XX/XX/XXXX an account was opened in my name for a Speedy Cash account in the amount of {$900.00}. I joined the XXXX and left for XXXX XXXX XX/XX/XXXX. When checking my free annual credit report around XX/XX/XXXX, I noticed a collection from XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX with SPEEDYCASH as the original creditor. After calling Speedy Cash about this matter, they told me that this account was in collections with a third party collection agency and that I needed to contact them for payment details. I kindly explained to Speedy Cash that this account was not opened by me, but they kept pushing the fact to call the collection agency and was done talking with me. XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX did not help either, all they kept pushing was that I owed {$900.00} and how would I like to pay it. I explained to XXXX XXXX XXXX the same thing that I explained to Speedy Cash, I joined the XXXX and left for XXXX XXXX XX/XX/XXXX to XXXX XXXX, GA. where I remained for 2 months and 1 week. XXXX XXXX really blew that off and was still asking for payment. I have been disputing this collection for over 4 years now and I keep getting the same results which reads ” Account information disputed by consumer, meets FCRA requirements ”. The last update was XX/XX/XXXX and this account is still open and hindering me.
