    • You really need to go back and look at the client agreement you signed when you purchased help from the company. I have not seen a debt settlement contract that does not say you can’t be sued, and everyone I’ve seen states that the settlement program will negatively impact your credit because you will default on your creditor payments. You ask if you should file bankruptcy and it is the fastest and least expensive way out of debt. Your debts are legally eliminated in about 100 days. Before you leap to do anything you should read this https://getoutofdebt.org//51700/how-to-find-a-great-bankruptcy-attorney

    • And now you can see why I often recommend a Chapter 7 bankruptcy instead. In less than 90 days and for less than $2,000 the debts can be gone permanently and legally. Sorry to hear about your experience.

  2. Two years ago, I recd. a solicitation mortgage refinance; my application was approved. I turned down the approval, instead I got approved via the loan modification by my bank. Then this mortgage consultant advised me she knows of a company that can help with my CC debts. At that time, my credit score was 788; all I want is to negotiate a lower monthly payments. I was enticed with the sweet talking rep. who works for National Accounts LLC. This women told me, their program is better than other debt management companies. I will be credit free in 24 month and my monthly debt resolution program w/ a bi-weekly payments of $816.42. So I officially got enrolled by ACTIFY’S SOLUTIONS in 2017.

They didn’t settle with my creditors; advised me to send them all creditors and collection letters to them, and never, contact these companies; they will send resolution letters to them. I ignore these collection letters. One credit card company, my balance was $825..w/c I want to settle, they even reduced my balance and put me in 3 monthly payments. I have been subpoena & sued 2 times; Actify referred me to a law firm, they negotiated to a settlement, w/c I paid for $2,500.00. All these months I continued to pay Actify. As of today, I found out they kept my payments, never settled w/ my creditors. All of my payments paid their faxes, emails, educational assistance. As of last month, I paid Actify Solutions in excess of $14K; not including the 1 settlement for $2,500; I personally negotiated to 1 creditor. the settlement was w/ was then $825+ now w/ interest was $1,300. Actify’s policy and threshold is $2,500; lower than that amount, you’re to negotiate..

My credit reports are so messed-up. The brackets were all colored Black now vs. 2 years ago were all Green.
What Actify Solutions will only do is to is to invalidate your credits, send letters to the 3 Credit Bureaus, but they will never contact your creditors. At this time, I am so depressed, no recourse, to ever collect the money from Actify Solutions.

And worse case scenario, they said, they have no guarantee that I will not get sued again by my creditors..
To all who read my complains, this is an outrageous experience, I could never in my life fathom. HELP!

  3. I (Max) was involved with Actify for almost three years. I agree with everything that others said about Actify. They give you what you want to hear – that you have the right not to be hounded by companies that you owe money to. But it’s all a game. They take your money and you end up more in debt that you were before

  4. DO NOT FALL FOR THE ACTIFY SCAM! I ended paying them over $6000 before the lawsuits started rolling in. They told me that everything was cleared and I would start rebuilding my credit just prior to the lawsuits. They tell you to stop paying all your bills and then have you say , on a recorded line, that no one ever told you that. TOTAL RIP OFF. Just declare bankruptcy

  5. Actify is a scam. they sold the product to me with false information, They placed me on a 25 install pay plan of $277.00 a month and I had only 3 installments left to pay when I started receiving court summonses from ALL THE CREDIT CARDS that Actify was supposedly working on. When I called them, they response was, ” well, now that this account is in the hands of the court we cannot help you…..we will remove the account from the program. They sent the summons to their “lawyer” whom made a payment plan for me to pay off ALL MY CREDIT CARDS. I could have done that from the beginning without paying Actify close to $5K…. all this is after I had paid Actify Solutions approx. $5,000 to help me with these credit cards.
The lawyer’s response to me was…well you owe this amount to that credit card co so you need to pay them….Seriously??… ACTIFY SOLUTIONS IS A REAL SCAM. STAY AWAY FROM THEM EVERYONE……

    They are a real Scam.

  6. Actify is a scam. They sold the program to me u see false pretenses stating that they would negotiate the amount of debt owed with the collectors and then settle the claim. When I’m fact they never pay the collectors at all. Instead they attempt to “invalidate” the debt which means you don’t have to pay the collectors at all. (I was unaware that this was the ultimate tactic.” However, they took me for $3500 over the course of 10 months. Told me they had “invalidate” one of my accounts and that it was now ok. Since they didn’t pay the collector and got the account “invalidated” the debt collector sold the account back to the creditors and now I am being sued for the account. I was actually served the papers from the sheriff’s Dept on 9/17/18. I also received a rude email from the enrollment counselor today. Actify said they would discount my monthly fee around $7 a month and insisted I stay with the program to see results. Had I known they never paid the debt collector anything then I would have never signed up. They tell you false information to go with their company. It’s a scam!!! Cold hearted people!!!!
