Student Loan Help Center – Consumer Complaint – November 14, 2017

Written by Consumer

Consumer Statement:

The radio stations in philadelphia were advertising the student loan help center; i have debt on a student loan and received a letter from dept of education; i call the telephone number provided from the radio station advertisement, i spoke to three people from the4 student loan help center in wesley chapel florida, i was told to send my w4 tax statement and 2 current paystubs, my social security number was also provided, the student loan help center sent a proxy letter to me to bet signed and returned, i signed and returned the letter. I was given a 6 month land rehabilitation agreement from november 2016 thru april 2017 the monthly amount was $245.00. The end of the agreement came and i had not heard from the student loan help center; in august 2017 i received a letter from the dept of education for further action on my student loan. i researched the address for the student loan help center in wesley chapel florida and the property is a vacant lot. The agreement caused further debt for me and the student loan rehabilitation was not valid. The advertisement from a major radio station in philadelphia pa is bad, losing my money is worse. This is not fair to honest people such as myself.

Consumer Action Taken:
