Consumer Complaint: I have been paying on a student loan from XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX for 28 years. I have records of all my payments which totals {$57000.00} The original loan was {$17000.00} onXX/XX/XXXX1991.
They say that I still owe {$38000.00}.
They are going to take my tax refund and garnish my wages very soon if action is not taken.
I have repeatedly written letters, applied for XXXX Forgiveness with no results.
They have turned the loan over to a collection agency ; Performant Recovery Inc. which I have also written and received the same reply, that I still owe the money in question.
