Consumer Complaint: A couple of days after I turned XXXX, I opened my very first bank account in XXXX XXXX XXXX. A week later, I received a notice of levy from my bank that I owe to the XXXX Sheriff ‘s Department a total of {$7400.00}. I did n’t know what that is. I contacted the XXXX Sheriff ‘s Department and they said that the Law Offices of Nelson and Kennard have filed a lawsuit against you and put that levy against your account so you need to contact them to know why they put that much money against you. I called that law firm and turns out that they ‘re a debt collector looking for another person under my social security number. THEY HAVE MY SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER! I do n’t understand. I never had a credit card nor ever had any debts or loans upon me. So there is definitely some sort of fraud going on and my identity is in danger right now!
