Consumer Complaint: I started receiving phone calls from a company where the rep identified herself as XXXX XXXX. She asked for my personal info and I told her I wasnt comfortable with that and she got abusive then hung up. Since the I kept getting phone calls asking for the same info, until I finally got a letter and initiated contact.
At that point I advised the rep I wasnt aware of the debt and needed it validated after over an hour telling me I must pay it and wanted my employer info and threatened my credit and job.
On XXXX XXXX I sent registered letters to both locations that had been calling me requesting validation in the mail and no further phone contact. USPS tracking # XXXX shows this was delivered within a week. I still continued receiving phone calls, despite my request not to.
Finally I received a letter dated XX/XX/XXXX acknowledging receipt of my letter and sending me a typed up page showing creditor and amount owed, not a validation. The calls also continued. During this timeframe they also reported me tonyhe credut bureaus.
I then sent letters to the credit bureaus disputing this debt after proof of the debt wasnt furnished. To date XXXX is insisting the debt is valid and I affect heard back from the other 2 agencies.
Today, XX/XX/XXXX, I received a threatening letter that now they will be forced to take the action that the creditor is insisting they take.
The collections agency is XXXX XXXX for XXXX XXXX XXXX.
