Consumer Complaint: I was a fitness member at the XXXX XXXX XXXX aka XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX located in the XXXX XXXX in XXXX, TN. In XX/XX/XXXX, I was getting ready to relocate to another area in the city and decided that I would no longer need my membership. I went into the fitness center and requested to cancel. I never signed a contract to become a member and there were no fees to cancel. XXXX told me that I would have to put it in writing. He wrote all of the information down and I sent a letter to have the payments stopped. Somehow in XX/XX/XXXX, a collection agency reported that I owe {$160.00}. The debt is inaccurate. I have never received a notice from XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX or Aldous and Associates. The collection agency claims to have been reporting since XX/XX/XXXX and I have never heard from them. This information just popped up on my report in XX/XX/XXXX.
