Consumer Complaint: Hello, My husband had been seriously ill and in XXXX for nearly a month and sadly XXXX XXXX. At my husband ‘s XXXX XXXX, while our family is mourning our XXXX XXXX of our Husband, Father, Brother, Friend, the Bank of the West Branch Manager, XXXX XXXX, approached me, not to give his condolences but to ” demand that I make the payments current and the loan was past due ”. He continued on the say that it was my responsiblity to keep the loan payments current. Of course, I was in a state of shock that Bank of the West felt compelled to attend my husband ‘s XXXX XXXX to ” demand payment ”, XXXX XXXX, continued on with his comments for a few moments and left.
XXXX XXXX, Branch Manager and Bank of the West should be fined and XXXX XXXX should lose his position at Bank of the West for unfair harassment in attempts to collect a debt, unlawful conduct, trying to intimidate me on the day of my husband ‘s XXXX XXXX and protect my privacy as well as my families privacy at a time of our mourning.
Bank of the West should be ashamed of this type of behavior and harassment of a widow and her family during our time of mourning.
