Consumer Complaint: I received a telephone call from XXXX XXXX for a debt owed to Continental Finance Company ( XXXX at XXXX ) in the amount of {$630.00}. The first call I received was from a Service Processor stating that I would be served a complaint and that someone would need to be at my resident with two pieces of ID to sign for this Complaint and if I wanted to stop the process – I would have to call their office. I did call — they wanted the following arrangements in order to stop the Service Processor : {$190.00} on XX/XX/2018 ( which I paid – and it was a struggle ). They also wanted me to pay {$440.00} on XX/XX/2018 to close out the account. I was unable to come up with the finances – so I called and they asked what could I pay – I told them that I would try to get at least {$100.00} – which I did and paid – but set up arrangements to pay the final {$330.00} by XX/XX/XXXX – which I am still unable to do. I pressure and stress to met their expectation is overwhelming. They stated that if I did not keep these arrangements that I would have to come to court and let them settle the matter. Help!
