Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2018 I received a phone call from ” The XXXX XXXX ” in Nevada stating that I was going to be taken to court if I did not pay {$960.00} for a US Bank debt from XX/XX/XXXX that then went into default in XX/XX/XXXX. I have no idea what this is from. Regardless, I asked repeatedly on the phone for them to email me this information or to send it to my current address ( which they did not have ) via US mail. They refused and stated that I had 5 days to pay this or it would go into a XXXX XXXX and then I would owe {$1600.00} and then if I didn’t pay that I would owe over {$3000.00} because it would then go to court.

They stated twice that they tried to summon me at an address that I had had mail delivered to ( a friend lived there ) when I was younger and traveling. I have not had anything to do with that address for 15 years.

If I owe the money, I will pay it. However, I want to see it in writing so that I can verify it. This XXXX XXXX refused to send me anything in writing.
