Consumer Complaint: I am in the process of buying my first loan and recently discharged from bankruptcy on XX/XX/2018. My mortgage company discovered that the company XXXX XXXX has a lien against me dated XX/XX/2018. XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, XXXX Alabama XXXX ( a debt collector ) for XXXX XXXX , XXXX. They filed a small claim with XXXX county XXXX in the amount of XXXX.

I do not know anything about this bill. I believe my identity has been stolen because this debt is not listed on my credit report. XXXX XXXX is the debt collector representative and she says that it is for a XXXX Credit Card and that I used it at XXXX and for XXXX XXXX. I have not had XXXX XXXX in 7 years. She asked if I was still in bankruptcy and when I told her I was discharged she said I had to pay the bill. She did not give me any dates of these charges or a copy of the bill. The address on the lien notice is my prior address but I did not have XXXX XXXX. I had XXXX XXXX briefly and XXXX and the internet provider. I have left many messages for her call me back but have not received any answers. She did provide me with the creditors name as a XXXX Credit card, and their file #. When I called Continental Finance, they refused to talk to me stating that my account was sold t XXXX XXXX. I don’t believe this is my account and if is I never received a statement and the charges are not mine. From the XXXX charge, this date of the charge is prior to me file bankruptcy and this bill should have been settled through the bankruptcy chapter XXXX. I can not get in contact with XXXX and they are never available to discuss this nor have they sent me the needed information to verify whether this is a true bill. I need this cleared up asap or I will loose my FHA loan.
