I contacted XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX and advised it should have been covered by my insurance carrier XXXX and I should not be charged. I was advised by XXXX to disregard the bill that it was an error from the Dr. ‘s office that they encoded the visit wrong. Approximately a 1-2 months later I receive another bill for {$50.00}. I contacted XXXX again and was advised to disregard the bill and that there was a note on my account. In XX/XX/XXXX/XX/XX/XXXX I received a notice from a collection agency Apex stating I owed {$50.00} to virtua and my account is now in collection. I reached back out to XXXX who advised to disregard the bill and that it was sent to the collection agency in error. In XXXX XXXX resubmitted the claim to my insurance carrier and advised that everything was resolved. On XX/XX/XXXX I received a collection notice for the same issue now for {$110.00}. I contacted XXXX and was advised XXXX denied the claim due to it being 180 days after the visit and sent a notice to XXXX that they must send an letter of explanation in order for the claim to be paid. I have reached out to XXXX, who advised I don’t have a balance or an account in Collections and has asked I forward the collection notice. XXXX provided a fax number which did not work. I have been calling on a weekly basis since XX/XX/XXXX and can not reach anyone, have left several messages and do not receive a call back. The issue is still outstanding and at risk for damaging my credit.
