Consumer Complaint: Midwest Recovery Systems is NOT licensed to collect debt in the state of Florida. Their license expired in XX/XX/2013. They have NOT renewed their license, and they have NOT notified me of any debt prior to reporting. According to the Fair Credit Debt Collection act, and the Fair Credit Reporting Act, I am supposed to be notified of a debt and given sufficient time to dispute or resolve the debt. This debt was reported without my acknowledgement and they are violating my HIPPA rights.
