Consumer Complaint: Asset Recovery Solutions XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, IL XXXX I have received dozens of calls to my cell phone from Asset Recovery Solutions. They are trying to contact someone named ” XXXX XXXX. ” I’m not sure who this person is, or if this is the correct name for the person, but it is not me. I have spoken with an employee of this company in the past explaining that the person they are trying to contact is not me. They have the wrong phone number for the person that owes the debt and to take my number off their list. They have not honored my request and continue to call my phone.

What has prompted me to file a complaint is the call I received from Asset Recovery Solutions on XX/XX/18. Once again I explained that I am not the person they are trying to find, that I have requested for my number to be removed from their list in the past, and they claimed I never did so, and if I did, that maybe an employee had a ” mishap ” in properly removing my #.

I’ve received calls from XXXX on XX/XX/18, XX/XX/18, XXXX on XX/XX/18 XXXX on XX/XX/18 XXXX on XX/XX/18 XXXX on XX/XX/18 XXXX on XX/XX/18 XXXX on XX/XX/18 XXXX on XX/XX/18 XXXX on XX/XX/18 XXXX on XX/XX/18 XXXX on XX/XX/18 XXXX on XX/XX/18 XXXX on XX/XX/18 x XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/18 XXXX on XX/XX/18 XXXX on XX/XX/18 XXXX on XX/XX/18 XXXX on XX/XX/18 XXXX on XX/XX/18 XXXX on XX/XX/18 XXXX on XX/XX/18 XXXX on XX/XX/18 XXXX on XX/XX/18 XXXX on XX/XX/18 XXXX on XX/XX/18 XXXX on XX/XX/18 XXXX on XX/XX/18 XXXX on XX/XX/18 XXXX on XX/XX/18 XXXX on XX/XX/18 XXXX on XX/XX/18 XXXX on XX/XX/18 XXXX on XX/XX/18 XXXX on XX/XX/18 XXXX on XX/XX/18 I can not verify if every single one of these calls is from Asset Recovery Solutions. This is also not a complete list of calls from this company. Some calls I did not answer. Some calls I answered but the automated system didn’t register that I had picked up. Some calls I answered and the person asked to speak to ” XXXX XXXX ” ( sp ) and I explained it wasn’t me and they would just hang up.

I believe the majority of these calls were from Asset Recovery Solutions, as I have had this same # for over 10 years and have never had any unwanted calls until Asset Recovery Solutions started calling.

I’ve requested Asset Recovery Solutions to provide a call log of all calls and attempts made to my phone number and they have denied my request saying that they do not have to do that.

I have now sent them a cease and desist letter through certified mail.
