Consumer Complaint: Back in XXXX i got a called from a debt collector, the call that i owe about {$100.00} to a cash store i borrowed money from. Which i was very aware. So when they called me i got put on a payment plan because i want it to pay them off right away because i didnt want this on my credit because i had been fixing my credit. Well i made my first payment in XXXX, in XXXX i made my second payment, and right before my last payment was going to be made, BOOM it was reported to my credit as a collections, which i didnt know why it was being reported if I was put on a payment plan? I did not understand why, so i immediately called and the very next day i made my payment, but before i made this payment i told the man i needed a letter stating this was going to be off my credit. So he send me the letter, but little did i know he just send me a letter where stating this account was paid in full not that it was going to be deleted which i did not know the difference. So they got their money, and now this is still on my credit and they wont removed it. Ive spoken to the company and they refused to remove this from my credit. They wont give me a reason why, despiste i got told it would be deleted. I need this to be removed since Im trying to buy a house. The company is national credit adjusters. This company just cares to get their money and not help their customers out.. i need help!!
