Consumer Complaint: Back in XX/XX/2018, I received a notice from Midland Credit Management, regarding a debt for my old credit one account, I advised thru writing the collection agency that ‘ I DO NOT OWE THIS AMOUNT TO THE ORIGINAL CREDITOR AND WILL ONLY WORK WITH THE ORIGINAL CREDITOR ON RESOLVING ”.

On XX/XX/2018, I check my credit reports and noticed that Midland along with XXXX XXXX credit are both appearing on my credit report. I also received another letter from Midland dated XX/XX/18, along with a bill from XXXX XXXX, once again I write back ( see the attached ), I DO NOT OWE THIS AMOUNT OT XXXX XXXX AND WILL ONLY WORK WITH XXXX XXXX ON RESOLVING. I have tried contacting XXXX XXXX and offer a settlement for the original amount of the debt but have not received a return call.

I believe Midland has once again ( have tried several time to asked to cease collection efforts, without any success and have violated the Fair Credit Reporting Act, They were allowed to place on my credit files this debt with Midland, along with XXXX XXXX, without validating the amount.
