Walgreens’ Tests Targeted Ads on Coolers. What Do You Think?

Walgreen’s is testing new refrigerated and freezer coolers to display drinks and products inside.

An interesting feature is how the cameras in the cooler make decisions about who is walking up and “can determine shopper traits like age and gender, information that can then be used to target shoppers with ads for relevant products.”
