South Coast Financial Center – Consumer Complaint – October 28, 2019

Consumer Statement:

South Coast Financial Center assured me that they could assist me in getting my student loans consolidated and for almost 5 months I paid a fee of over $1037.50 for them to file my information with the Department of Education.

I recently that I unable to consolidate and I contacted South Coast Financial to discuss my options. Their representative confirmed that I would not be able to consolidate my student loans and that I would be refunded all the money I had paid for their services.

After repeated phone calls and assurances, I received my refund check for the full amount. However, today I discovered the check was returned to back for insufficient funds.

Consumer Action Taken:

I have contacted the South Coast Financial Center today 10/25/19 only to discover that the office is closed.
