Debt Settlement Servicing Company Doesn’t Add Up

A tipster (send in your tips here) sent me an email that went out to recruit affiliates. You can see the email below.

But How Can They Get So Much Basic Stuff So Wrong

The Debt Settlement Servicing Company says they are Debt Settlement Servicing Company, LLC and located at 655 S. Main Street #200-404, Orange, CA 92868. – Source. Only one problem. California does not have a registered company with the name. In the email they also say they are DSSC, Inc. But that’s not true either.

What California does have is a registered Wyoming company known as DSSC, LLC and some records say the address they listed is one they use.

At the same address is a company, RBC Consulting Group, Inc.

The address is actually a mailbox store called Mailbox IT of Orange. – Source

DSSC in Wyoming is actually known as Debt Settlement Servicing Company and is currently an inactive and dissolved company. – Source

The email pitch has got to make you wonder how overpriced the services are when 95% is paid out in a commission. Additionally, the email pitch says DSSC represents a national law firm but does not tell us who they are.

On their website they proudly display the USOBA logo. Just one problem. According to USOBA they are not a member.

How can a company that gets so many things wrong about itself be trusted to do the right things for clients or affiliates?

It doesn’t sound to me as if they know who they really are, who they really belong to, what they are really selling and where the office is really located. You’ve been warned.

Sincerly,
Steve

  • heck they could pay “110%” commission if they are charging a $90 or a $125 monthly fee and some $700 setup fee like another company we all know and love (sarcastic). The commission they are referring to is likely just based on one section of the various fees charged to the client and the irony is it is deceptive marketing in itself. So if their solicitations to affiliates are deceptive, any guess how they treat clients?
