Former TASC Board Member Charged With Driving Under the Influence in Florida

I have no idea in the world how readers of this site find these things. They just arrive in my inbox.

Here is the latest TMZish scoop of the day.

A tipster (send in your tips here) sent in the following mug shot of Nick Passalacqua who was arested and charged with driving under the influence in Florida. Nick is the CEO of Predictivedollars.com and a former TASC (The Association of Settlement Companies) board member. – Source

Not sure what the story is behind this but we now know what Nick was doing on June 19th at 1:21 am.

Predictvedollars.com, is the largest provider of real-time debt leads in the debt settlement space and generates approximately three thousand leads daily and expects early in the first quarter of 2009 it will be able to take that number to above six thousand. The company owns and operates its own web properties which generates millions of consumers a month that are in need of reducing their credit card payments due to financial hardships. The company estimates in 2008 that it has generated over 2.8 billion dollars in consumer credit card debt inquiries.

Sincerly,
Steve

  • “Google also indexes on Wednesday nights.” OMG that’s hilarious. Do you really believe that?

Google indexes the web, every second of every day. In fact this site has been crawled by Google 12,154 times in the last 24 hours.

  • So you really want me to go further into this?

I thought I’d covered this adequately enough in my other comments but let’s take another shot at this for you.

A reliable tipster thought it was important enough and relevant enough to send it to me. That’s how this made the site.

If you are going to be pissed off at me then you need to be pissed off at the Palm Beach Post because they reported it first.

I got the mug shot and details from http://www.palmbeachpost.com/b

The tipster also sent me other personal details for Nicholas Passalacqua that I did not publish.

Along with the tip I also received a link to the full booking information, again, that I did not previously publish but here it is for clarity.

TRAFFIC OFFENSE – DUI ALCOHOL OR DRUGS

He was at least involved in the debt relief industry as a board member of TASC in the last two years and according to other commenters he was still involved in the debt industry after that.

There has been no denial the facts I published were inaccurate or not factual.

  • How is that important to a debtor consumer or to any member of the debt industry (friend or foe of Steve Rhode). He has not been a TASC Board member or even involved in the debt industry for quite some time. What is newsworthy about this story? I think you report these things just for the controversy and anything “TASC” gets you a lot of comments from a large segment of your readers (TASC haters) and that is always good for a blogger like you who has all the ads that need clicks…
