It is important to understand when reading comments below that they are the opinions of the individual posters and may not be representative of the overall impression of all consumers that may have or have not used the debt relief services of this company. But everyone does deserve to have an opportunity to express their opinion, even the debt collection company itself, be it good, bad, or indifferent.
This company offers to adjust your so-called “debt” owed to other companies. When asked to substantiate their claim, they mail a paragraph template letter simply stating what they claim is owed but without any accounting of the details. This is especially concerning and disturbing to customers such as us who even overpaid Sprint Wireless just so that we could get out of a messy and flawed accounting of our bill and repeated harassment by Sprint representatives stating “something bad will happen if we leave Sprint! It’s a dumb move!” We thought we were finally done with Sprint, but then comes this cohort, Diversified Adjustments. Diversified went so far as to spam our inbox with emails expressing language to the effect of “You know we can work things out if you just pay part of what you owe, which will take care of everything.” Diversified’s apparently gleeful, wheeling and dealing solicitation of an offer for help fails to address the core issue of why Diversified fails to substantiate fraudulent charges owed and rather resorts to haranguing phone calls.
Upon further questioning Diversified on exactly what services they provide, numerous representatives have responded, “That’s personal,” “We can’t tell,” “We offer confidential services in many areas,” etc. When asked for their address to lodge a complaint, they have responded, “Go look it up yourself.” The shady nature of the business is revealed in numerous representatives simply hanging up when prompted for answers to these questions. Hanging up on members of the public who don’t want such rogue solicitations and simply inquire on the nature of Diversified’s business is hardly a reason to simply hang up and then continue with harassing calls to adjust fraudulent charges that they fail to substantiate. Diversified Adjustment incessantly continues making harassing, unwanted phone calls to personal as well as workplace numbers soliciting services for personal financial adjustments despite notifications to cease further contact. They are required to stop calling upon being told to do so, however Diversified representatives apparently fail to recognize this and continue bombarding workplace numbers with absolutely no reflection on the consequent liability and repercussions from the employees and workplaces they are calling. Please beware of the Company and their crude representatives.
