I had my tax return put on my card tried to use an wS declined racked up almost $12 in fees N nothing called em an got charged 3 bucks every call mow i hv over $59 in fees teying to reach them an $1700 missing off my card! This company is stealing peoples money!!
I would like to dissuade anyone from buying this prepaid
card. I’ve had the card for no more than
two weeks and they are already ripping me off.
Unbelievable customer service?
I’m sure they wrote that. Yes it
is unbelievably poor. Do not expect to
get a response from customer service for at least two days and when you do they
will only send you prepackaged answers.
And you cannot reply to their response, you have to create a new message
and then wait another two days for a response.
Do not expect to get someone on the phone either if you have a question
or issue. All customer service lines are
automated with no option to speak to a live person. Last Sunday I went to make a purchase and the
money was there according to their website but my transaction was
declined. Told store to try again twice
and I ended up getting charged 50 cents per decline. Only when I got home to check my account had
my balance been reduced. So it appears
that they wait until you swipe the card to start accruing unfair fees or
updating your account. Save the
embarrassment of trying to make a purchase and getting declined and go with a
Western Union or American Express prepaid card.
I am.
Finally, if you try to dissuade others from using their card
on their Facebook page as I did today, they will promptly remove your comment
since they obviously don’t want anyone badmouthing their service. Makes sense but they obviously have something
to hide. Do not let them reel you in.
They held on to my first deposit 11 days past the day the VA sent my EDU benifits. My second deposit well we shall see!
I ordered my BuyRight Mastercard just a few weeks
ago, and got it 3 days later.
I’ve loaded some money on it and not had any
problems yet. The fees are
comparable to other prepaid cards, and I like that
they text me when I use it so I
know what my balance is. I was so sick of
getting stuck with $30 overdraft fees
from my bank. I’ve seen some bad
reviews here but I haven’t had any problems
thus far.
Just wait ’til you have a small issue, lose your card, etc. You’ll see exactly how awful they are. Sometimes it takes time to realize what a company is about.
