Meridian Law Group – Consumer Complaint – March 29-2013

Consumer Statement:

i contacted Meridian Law Group to help me get out of debt. They said they would settle my accounts for a fraction of what I owe and they would handle it all for me. They take their fee up front. They have done nothing but tell me I have to deal with the courts, file all papers myself and write letters to creditors. Sure they tell me what to say once in a while but they have not DONE anything accept collect my money and paper work and keep it in a file somewhere. They are rude on the phone and don’t explain anything they just pass you around to diffferent clerical people who don’t even look at your file or try and understand what you need, until you are so frustrated you can’t think straight. I paid for this aggravation but am getting no help.

Consumer Action Taken:

I tried to talk to customer service and asked to talk to someone who knew what was going on with my account and they just keep saying sorry no. There is only one customer service person and she won’t do anything accept appologize. And told me basically they aren’t going to do a thing about it.
