A reader asked me why a debt relief company AmeriFree, located in Arizona, was not licensed as a debt management company according to the state AmeriFree is located in.
My answer was, “don’t know” so I went to investigate.
AmeriFree can be found at amerifree.com and their domain regisration says they are located at:
AmeriFree Financial, Inc
1920 E Broadway Rd
Tempe, Arizona 85282
The BBB reports them to be located at: 2153 East Cedar Street, Suite 3, Tempe, AZ 85281. – Source
The State of Arizona says AmeriFree Financial, Inc. is located at 2163 W. Musket Place, Chandler, Arizona 85286 and the CEO is John Corey, the President is Greg Flinders, and the VP is Klint Price.
According to the State of Arizona, Consumer Affairs Division, “AmeriFree is not licensed at this time by our Department.”
I contacted AmeriFree via their online form to ask the question from the reader. After 24 hours they have not responded.
