Nationwide Student Relief – Consumer Complaint – September 8, 2014

Consumer Complaint Submission
Written by Consumer

Consumer Statement:

I found a site on the internet claiming to be able to help with student loan. They said they could help because of a federal program student for student loan forgiveness that President Obama has supported. After providing personal information by fax and over the phone they stated they did not have all the information they needed.

Consumer Action Taken:

I phoned over and over receiving voice mails. When I finally requested a refund they stopped responding to my calls. I phoned the web site number 8019128460 also 8019128467. Please help with this matter I feel that I was miss leaded by their web site.

  • I Chose nationwide student loan forgiveness program because it was funded by the government so they say. Due to hardship in my medical problems they said I qualified for the forgiveness program they’re automatically taking a certain amount of money auto pay . I had five arrange schedule payments after that the entire 3 student loans was to be forgiven I! anyways I am in the process of getting a Equity loan from m my house and the student loans are on there but actually before that another student loan company called Nelnet but I never heard of them i, and said that I I am severely behind on my on my payments? I’m already on a student loan forgiveness program ? I told him how can this be ? I thought nationwide student loan forgiveness was a legitimate company . Because I had to sign a power of attorney and give them a lot of documents signed signature etc. with this other student loan people ..I told him I never heard of them and I didn’t have to go to a Power of attorney and all that stuff so I’m very confused it’s a ding on my credit and I hope this doesn’t prevent me from getting My equity out of my paid home !!! I am really pissed off .how can I fix this ??? Need immediate help !!!

  • I too was working with Matthew Cartwright, a woman named Loretta, and another person named Chris. They referred me to another person named Will Rogers 801-912-8473 who was supposed to reimburse the $198 they took out of my account. This is a scam, no one answers emails or returns messages. BEWARE! DON’T WORK WITH THIS COMPANY!!! It’s been since September 2014, it’s now January 2015.

  • File a complaint with the attorney general of the state that the company is located in. BBB complaints too. Sounds like business as usual at a student debt relief agency.
