Consumer Complaint: I attended XXXX XXXX from XXXX XXXX until the XXXX of XXXX . During this time I took out private student loans from the lender XXXX XXXX ( this is now Navient ). I took out a significant amount of money over these years. I really did n’t understand the process of paying it back and I thought they would work with me based on my income. I have done multiple forbearances over the years and it seems they are also charging me additional fees. They told me I know longer qualify for any programs and they are requesting a payment beyond my means. They are threatening to put a lean on my parents home. My father is on a fixed income, as he was when these loans were taken out. My credit is destroyed and I do not know what to do. Please help me. Thank you, XXXX XXXX
