Consumer Complaint: XXXX XXXX XXXX has contacted my place of employment threatening to serve me with ” legal documents ”. When I spoke to them the address they had on file from 2011 was incorrect. I asked them to remail a validation letter and was told no that they can text me. When I stated this was not good enough I needed written proof they said they will see me in court and hung up.
The file number that they provide is non existent, they can not locate any records. When I would not agree to pay without validation the man on the phone became defensive and started threatening me with lawyers.
