Consumer Complaint: Valley Collection Services ( VCS ) and I have reached settlement however, VCS wants payment prior to providing a written agreement regarding the settlement. A ‘paid in full ‘ and a ‘payment agreement ‘are two different letters. I will not make any payments unless a written document explicitly indicates that a PENDING {$90.00} payment will settle the account in full as agreed upon. Once a payment is made then a ‘paid in full ‘ letter can be distributed. The arbitration terms are with XXXX XXXX XXXX, but Valley Collection Services is what is reflecting on my credit report. If I can not receive a pending agreement letter indicating the {$90.00} will settle the account, I will take further action as VCS has acknowledged an agreement was made through a Better Business Bureau complaint. I will not make a payment then receive a letter after-the-fact, as I have no clue if the letter will comply to what was agreed upon. I am not making ‘payments ‘ toward any balances. This is a ‘settlement ‘ payment. The service was only performed once for {$90.00} while I was not home.
