Question:
Dear Steve,
Got a call from these people yesterday. Sunshine Freedom Services. They with me talked with Discover and money transferred to my bank account. I have not payed them. They are calling this morning for a 1500 dollar check. What if I back out now. What happens to the balance transfer made from Discover to my 1 accounts and my checking account. I looked them up this AM. What can I legally do?
Help. I will not pay them this money plus 2% fee for transfers. They increased my debt and only lowered percentage interest rate on one of 4 cards

Answer:
Dear Gail,
Given the recent developments with Sunshine Freedom Services I would get the hell out so you can better evaluate your options and not feel rushed to enroll until you’ve had more time to investigate claims against them.
Sunshine Freedom Services was just named in this suit by the Federal Trade Commission. Given your statement Sunshine Freedom Services is calling for money before they perform any services, it seems to align with allegations made in the lawsuit to stop Sunshine Freedom Services.
You asked what you can legally do, well how about immediately pay back the cash advance transfer you made to avoid expensive debt and take a deep breath to stop and assess your situation.

If the services Sunshine Freedom Services is selling you are similar to those described in the FTC lawsuit I would suggest you call your bank and enlist their help to make sure you stop any payment going to them.
