Consumer Complaint: I filed an earlier complaint regarding the collection practices of a third party organization assigned by Citi Bank. Citi Bank did not respond with validation of the alleged debt being collected on. Checks were sent via postal mail years ago to satisfy the outstanding balance on the credit card account I had with Citi Bank. I had been under the impression the matter was resolved many years ago. Citi Bank instead replied with NO documentation : no canceled checks, no financial ledger, no account statements reflecting the alleged outstanding debt, etc. I ‘ve been the victim of financial fraud in the past and am leery of the absence of proper documentation as well as illegal collections practices Citi Bank has participated in over the years.

I would like for Citi Bank to halt possibly predatory collections practices on alleged debt, debt that there has been no documentation provided to validate.

I would like for Citi Bank to provide proof that the money paid to satisfy the balance on my credit card account held with them circa 2007 was simply not noted on the wrong account.

I would like for Citi Bank to provide statements for that card account mailed to me reflecting an unpaid balance.
