Date Received: 2018-03-13T00:00:00

Product: Medical debt

Issue: Written notification about debt

Consumer Consent Provided to Share Complaint: Consent provided

Consumer Complaint: Debt last reported on credit report on XX/XX/XXXX.

I have disputed debt of {$440.00} from XXXX XXXX XXXX in the past ( XX/XX/XXXX ). No written notification was given 5 days before of said debt before being posted to credit companies. Debt was sold from original company to current debt collector ( violation of my rights ). Once debt was sold to another debt collection agency I am no longer responsible for this debt as this debt was sold off to another agency with whom I did not sign a legal contractual agreement with.

Personal information was then exchanged from original company to debt collection agency which is a clear violation of my personal information/confidentiality without my consent or knowledge.

Furthermore, I called XXXX XXXX XXXX in XX/XX/XXXX to ask how to get in contact with original creditor : XXXX XXXX XXXX and they were unable to provide a phone number and state that debt was sold to XXXX XXXX XXXX and had no way of pulling up my records. The only thing they could do was see how much was the balance I owed which was {$440.00}.
