Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX we called Bank of America from XXXX XXXX XXXX to get my credit card number and pay off amount so that I could do a balance transfer. I was told by XXXX that our pay off amount was {$14000.00} so XXXX at XXXX submitted the balance transfer for us. Now Bank of America is trying to collect an additional {$260.00} from us. Today XX/XX/XXXX I called and talked to XXXX XXXX who told me she saw in the records that we had called and were told to call back when the balance transfer posted so that Bank of America could waive any fees that may have happened during the balance transfer transaction. WE asked to talk to a supervisor XXXX handed us off to her supervisor XXXX XXXX who then tried to collect the {$260.00}. We told her that we were told the fees would be waived. She then told me she would need to call me back.
