Consumer Complaint: I contacted JJ Marshall on XX/XX/XXXX regarding a debt I was not aware of, I was only asked if I wanted a copy of the report. I told them at that time my husband would contact them. I decided to contact them again on XX/XX/XXXX the person I spoke with for the second time was rude, he also told me that my husband contacted them in XX/XX/XXXX and took full ownership for the acct in question. They have full knowledge that this acct does not belong to myself. I never had a joint acct with my husband anywhere. They are refusing to take it off my credit report, this is the first time that I was even aware it was on my report. I have had my report run various times in the past 8 months and it was not until I tried to purchase a house, that they showed up on my report.
