Consumer Complaint: My son had services rendered from XXXX XXXX XXXX based in XXXX, AL in XX/XX/XXXX. At the visit I paid a {$20.00} copay, posted on XX/XX/XXXX to my HSA account. I received a bill in XXXX of XXXX for the remainder and paid the bill of {$72.00} on XX/XX/XXXX.

I received a call from AmSher, a collection agency in XXXX, AL on XX/XX/XXXX, advising, very forcefully, that I owed money and refused to give me details until I provided them with my childs personal information. As a minor, his information should NEVER be given and I asked if I could give mine since I was the responsible party. She advised no and was very rude. I hung up and called back to speak with someone. The next person advised me that XXXX XXXX XXXX has sent the bill to collections on XX/XX/XXXX and I could email her my paid receipt and they would remove it.

I emailed my receipt on a XX/XX/XXXX and called XXXX XXXX XXXX to ask them to remove from collections. I left a message and no return call. I received a bill from the collection agency, AmSher, on XX/XX/XXXX stating a bill date of XX/XX/XXXX, 3 business days after I had advised and shown proof it was paid. I still can not get a call back from XXXX a XXXX XXXX and have identified 20 or more people this company is sending medical debts to collections for paid bills in my community.
