Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX, as I checked my XXXX XXXX account, I noticed that a ‘derogatory remark ‘ was added to my credit reports from XXXX and XXXX . The collection agency that placed the ‘derogatory remark ‘ on my credit reports is Paramount Recovery, which is located at XXXX XXXX XXXX. , XXXX XXXX, XXXX , TX XXXX. I immediately sent a debt validation letter ( certified mail with return receipt ) to Paramount Recovery requesting validation of the debt as well as HIPPA authorization due to this being an alleged medical debt. Paramount Recovery acknowledged receipt of my debt validation letter by signing the certified mail return receipt ( green card ) and dating it for XX/XX/XXXX. The representative from Paramount Recovery who signed the certified mail return receipt was ” XXXX XXXX. ” From XX/XX/XXXX until present, I haven’t received any communication from Paramount Recovery regarding my debt validation letter or have received any of the requested information stated in my debt validation letter. Paramount Recovery did temporarily delete the ‘derogatory remark ‘ from both credit reports ( XXXX and XXXX ), but reinserted the ‘derogatory remark ‘ a few days later. I have NEVER received any proper/prior written notification from Paramount Recovery regarding this account. They just one day decided to insert this ‘derogatory remark. ‘ Also, they have placed this ‘derogatory remark ‘ on my credit reports without any account number from the original creditor.
